What is Motime?
Motime is the leading source for ringtones and mobile content in South Africa. You can browse the catalogue both online at http://www.motime.co.za and on wap on m.motime.co.za.
Motime is a weekly subscription service at R10 3x/week (R30/week) that allows user to download UNLIMITED content* on his mobile phone. To join Motime you must be 18+ years of age and have bill payer's permission. You sign up until you send STOP MOTIME to 31177. Please note that standard operator SMS (sent by the user) and WAP/GPRS/UMTS charges apply. Motime.co.za is certified to work with Vodacom, MTN, Cell C and Virgin Mobile users. *Technical limitations may apply.

What can be found on Motime?
Motime.co.za is your new mobile entertainement store with thousands of MP3 quality ringtones (realtones), fun tones, games, wallpapers and animation. The content is listed by genre, but also in lists based on specific criteria: i.e. the most popular and featured ringtones ('top' ringtones).
You can also search a Ringtone by Title or by Author or an Image by key. You'll find the ringtones listed by formats: realtones, polyphonics, to meet your handset compatibility.
What is a Preview?
All Ringtones available on the Motime.ca have a 30 second preview. All Wallpapers available on Motime.ca will also have a thumbnail preview of the graphic. These previews are available to all users.
How do I download content?
If you are a new member, you must first complete the sign-up process for Motime.co.za
Once you've found a Ringtone, Wallpaper or Game you want to download, click "Get It", then:
1) Sign Up: On the next page, fill in the requested information (your phone number), read the Terms od Use and click "Next Step";
2) Confirm: Once you receive your PIN code on your phone enter it on the website. When you get confirmation that your sign-up was successful, you are ready to start downloading.
3) Welcome: Once your subscription has been completed you'll receive a free Welcome SMS and your content billed at R10.
How do I download content?

Please make sure that your handset has been correctly configured for wap browsing and content download. Please also check before downloading that you have a compatible handset: just click on the 'phone icon' on the footer (leftside) and select your model. Motime will deliver automatically the best format for your mobile (realtone or polyphonic) but once you choose a game it's up to you to check if your handset supports java games.
Does downloaded content expire?
No, downloaded content doesn't expire. Once you download something, it's yours to keep forever. However, if you change your phone, you will have to re-download every mobile content. You can also retrieve your downloads history on you Account page on the website. You can access your Account page after log-in.
Please note: when you receive your chosen content via wap-push link on your mobile you must click on the link and download your content within 3 days. After that time the link expires.
What are credits?
Credits are used to redeem and download content. Motime subscriber receives an allowance of unlimited credits to download at his own choice: realtones, polyphonics, java games, images and animation. There is no difference between standard and premium content.
Please note that "Technical limitation may apply", which means that in order to avoid improper use of the service and possible hacking Dada.net S.p.A. can apply technical safety measures while ensuring subscriber's allowance as described above.
What is a preview?
All Ringtones available on the Motime.co.za have a 30 seconds preview. You can listen to the preview by clicking the PLAY button. All Wallpapers available on Motime.co.za will also have a thumbnail preview of the graphic. Both previews are available to all users, not ony to Motime members.
How do I sign up?
To sign up for Motime you have different options:
- Via WEB:
1. Choose a content from the online catalogue (www.motime.co.za) or from an advertising page
2. Enter your mobile phone number and read the Terms of Use
3. Enter the PIN code you have received via SMS to confirm your subscription
4. Done! Your subscription is completed and you can download your content by clicking the link we sent to your mobile.

- Via SMS:
1. Just text the syntax 'START' to 31177
2. Done! Your subscription is completed and you can download your content chosen-for-you by clicking the link we sent to your mobile.

- Via WAP:
1. Choose a content from the charts available on the wap site m.motime.co.za
2. Click the SIGNUP button and accept the Terms of Use
3. Done! Download your content directly from the wap site.
How can I cancel my subscription?
- SMS: You can cancel your subscription by sending "STOP MOTIME" to 31177.
- Call Center: You can call 082 2342412 (mon-sun 9AM to 5PM EST).
- E-mail: You can request cancellation by sending an e-mail to mobi-za@crm.dada.net. Be sure to include the 9-digit number attached to your subscription that you wish to unsubscribe as this will expedite your request.
Please note: you may cancel your subscription effective at the end of any calendar week by giving at least 7 days advance notice.
Can I block a phone number?
If you want to cancel an existing account that was set up by a minor and block the phone number for the future, just send an e-mail to mobi-za@crm.dada.net, including the phone number, and we will enter the number that you provided onto the blacklist. You can also call 082 2342412 to speak with one of our operators who are available seven days a week from 9AM to 5PM EST for assistance.
How do I pay for my Motime subscription?
For your convenience, in lieu of a credit card, you pay directly from your phone. Your wireless phone bill will reflect the charges for your Motime subscription (R30/week VAT included), so credit cards are not required. Your subscription will renew each month until you cancel.
How do I contact Motime staff if I have any additional questions?
